The German VfU (Verein fuer Umweltmanagement - Association for Environmental Management) offers a workshop around environmental key performance indicators (KPIs) and ecological balanace sheets in the savings bank sector. - November 11th: UN Conference on Climate Change COP 21 (Paris, France)

The twenty-first session of the Conference of the Parties (COP) and the eleventh session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP) will take place from 30 November to 11 December 2015, in Paris, France. COP 21 is widely regarded as the last chance to agree on a new globally binding protocol to succeed the Kyoto Protocol (expired in 2012) and help keep Global Warming under the 2 degree target. The German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) & UNEP Inquiry hold a conference on financing sustainable development and the role of governance in greening financial systems. This year's annual VfU (Verein fuer Umweltmanagement - Association for Environmental Management) roundtable focuses on the path from materiality analysis and to company strategy. Today many companies already have programs to embrace their societal responsibility and many companies publish sustainability and/or CSR reports. However, only a limited number of companies actually integrated these programs into their core business and their long term strategy.
